The Dream Labyrinth is a 3-part series for children aged 9-12 who enjoy the works of J.K. Rowling and C. S. Lewis. The first part was published in Hungary in 2007, more than 8000 copies were sold in the first year (which is a good number in the Hungarian market). The following 2 parts of the series – The Last Valley and The Dance of The Witches – were published in Hungary even greater success.

The protagonist of the series is David Cunningham, a 13-year-old boy, who has never been ordinary. He has never felt that he was special – for any reason. However, one day a family secret reveals: the boy is a descendant of the Guardian’s genus whose job is to defend the dreams of the creatures of both the world of fantasy and the world of  reality from the evil. Luckily, he is not alone – a talking mouse, a brave-hearted friend, a sarcastic unicorn and several other creatures help him to defeat the evil.
